She then graduated Cum Laude with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental Branch. In 2006 she expanded her education by completing an exclusive Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the VA Hospital in San Antonio, where she received training on the most progressive dental diagnostic and treatment techniques. After her residency, Dr. Rogers moved back to The Woodlands, where she has been practicing dentistry since 2007.
Dr. Rogers feels it is very important that the patients understand their diagnosis and options, putting them ultimately in control of their treatment. Her favorite thing about being a dentist is empowering people to take control of their oral health. Dr. Rogers states, “Many people don’t understand why they continue to get cavities or gum disease; in most of these cases, a little time spent educating patients about prevention can make a world of difference in their health and confidence. We’ve had patients who have had a lifetime of poor dental experiences and, by changing a few key habits, we can positively alter the course of their future dental health.”
